We’re Zunzun Sonrisa, and we are so glad you found us! We believe that when women are empowered, communities thrive. Our organization is dedicated to disrupting cycles of abuse, addiction, and poverty that prevent women from prosperity.
Our mission is to partner with existing organizations through resources, funding, and awareness to equip and empower women to flourish after recovery. Together we are building emboldened communities filled with hope and sustainability.
Like a zunun (hummingbird), we are tenacious and our reach is mighty! These tiny birds travel thousands of miles each year, pollinating hundreds of plants, spreading joy and beauty wherever they go. In the same way, we desire to spread hope and bring a smile (sonrisa) to everyone we touch.
