Through a scholarship awarded by PRAKTIKA, we have received 20 language-learning licenses to provide English classes for the women we serve. To support their learning, we are supplying tablets and expanding access to educational resources, including audiobooks.
In a city driven by tourism, even basic English skills can open doors to better employment opportunities and greater independence. Our goal is to help these women build confidence, develop new skills, and create brighter futures as they transition beyond the center.

To help our partner organizations become more self-sustaining, we provide all of the materials needed to create handmade bags at no cost. The women sew the bags and offer them in exchange for donations, with 100% of the proceeds staying with their organizations.
This program not only generates additional funding but also provides a creative outlet that promotes healing, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment through art and craftsmanship.
